My Approach
As a UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for shaping the core UX and visual language of Gigbase. My focus was to create a user-friendly platform that simplifies job discovery, hiring, and project management while maintaining a clean and intuitive interface.
My contributions included:
Defining the UX for both freelancers and employers through wireframes and user flows.
Simplifying navigation to reduce complexity and enhance usability.
Designing a fresh visual language to align with Gigbase’s brand vision.

Key Challenges
Creating a Seamless Experience for Two Different User Types
Gigbase serves freelancers and clients, each with unique needs. The challenge was to create an interface that catered to both while ensuring a smooth transition between different user journeys.
Simplifying Navigation & User Flow
Users needed an efficient way to find jobs, hire talent, and communicate without confusion. The challenge was to streamline the navigation while maintaining all necessary functionalities.
Establishing a Fresh & Consistent Visual Language
To build trust and professionalism, Gigbase required a cohesive and visually appealing design that was both functional and modern.
My Process
I designed separate onboarding flows and custom dashboards tailored for freelancers and clients. This allowed each user type to have a personalized experience while maintaining consistency across the platform.
I streamlined the navigation structure, reducing unnecessary steps and ensuring key actions (job posting, application, messaging) were easily accessible.
I built a design system with consistent typography, colors, and UI components, ensuring that the platform looked polished and professional while maintaining usability.
The Finished Product
The final product successfully transformed Gigbase’s vision into reality, delivering an intuitive and user-friendly platform for freelancers and employers.
